App Runtimes
Apps you use or develop can run in a growing number of supported products and services. The Dr. Know product line is one such example.
Products and services that host and run apps must embed a supported app runtime into their project. The app runtime is an invisible layer of software that knows how to host and run apps. App runtimes also support the various features documented on this site.
Supported Runtimes
App runtimes for the following development environments are currently supported.

| Web | Used by products offering an interactive user experience developed using industry standard Web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, and HTTP) |
| Agents | Dr. Know offers a cloud service for running intelligent agents |
Additional runtimes may be offered in the future based on demand.
Runtimes Features
The features offered by supported app runtimes are documented on this site. However, not all runtimes support the same set of features.
For example, products offering a visual interaction with apps will require additional features that other products and services without this requirement will need.
Each documented feature will indicate which runtimes it supports.
