# ready

### iot.ready

Returns whether or not measurement values are available.

### Input Parameters

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **---** | --- | --- |

### Returns

Type: **Boolean**

Returns **true** if measurement values exist. Otherwise, **false** is returned.

### Examples

```
// check if measurement values are available
if (iot.ready() === true)
    debug.log("Measurements available.");
```

### Remarks

Use this function when you need to test if IoT measurements are available to your app.
